Microwave Activity Day, Its one of Our Club’s activities, the day is for those with microwave gear that needs some testing and evaluation. Its not a contest, there are no points or prizes(get a new bit of gear to work is a prize in it ‘s self ), just people trying out their old / new gear and projects . These M A D days are normally scheduled out, (see our Club Calendar) away from contest days and such like events. There are times that 23 on 23 is on a weekend, so we have scheduled a M A D at that date, some operators have adopted this date to make a weekend trip work on a need to try a new location, or hill/mountain etc.  Any Band .100/.150 should find others testing and willing to communicate. Also software and computer aids can be trialed. The possibilities are up to you and your needs. So with all this in mind, with operators heading out form their QTH, see you all out there, testing and swearing is an option(not into the microphone of course). Its Our Club’s activity event and has been adopted by other states and countries (see our face book page for more input).
