This week’s meeting will be the first for the club’s new year.

We have plans for a number of  presentations for the evening

Peter VK4EA, our new Vice President, who is also both a director and Vice President of the WIA will be outlining some new proposals from our institute and addressing other important issues for the wider hobby

I will report an update on the Groups forthcoming QTech2025 conference to be held in November and announce news of more VHF-UWave records awarded to group members.

Finally, at the suggestion of Doug VK4OE, we intend to screen a video on the “back-room” technology involved in the succesful recovery of the APOLLO 13 astronauts.  It is now 55 years since that mission was aborted en route to the moon after a mid flight explosion crippled the spacecraft.
