“Show and Tell” session
Good morning everyone. Just a final reminder that the demonstration day (that members said they wanted) is this coming weekend
We will open the doors by 9:00 to allow for setup time and home to start the event around 10:30 on Sunday
The event is being supported by the Redcliffe Club at their club rooms at Kippa-Ring in Redcliffe.
As discussed the intention of the meeting is for members to bring along and describe projects they are working on. Projects at any stage will do from the drawing board to completed working gear.
It could be anything from Transmitters, receivers, antennas, other supporting equipement for home or portable use. Even perhaps a software application useful for VHF and microwave use.
Displays can be the equipment itself, or photographs or videos/PowerPoint of projects that cannot be brought along or from members joining in on-line. Nothing is too small – or large – anything of interest or that might be inspirational for others.
The day will be what we make it – we hope that as many as possible will support this initiative.
We will be inviting amateurs from other groups including Redcliffe members to attend, the opportunity to show what we do and the skills we have developed. Others of course may have had minimal or no experience with this aspect of the hobby.
Refreshments and catering is being planned
The event will be ZOOMED out on the usual BVHFG address for anyone not able to attend in person
