SUMMARY:July Club Meeting
DESCRIPTION:n \nThis week’s meeting will be the first for the club’s new year.\nWe have plans for a number of  presentations for the evening\n\nPeter VK4EA\, our new Vice President\, who is also both a director and Vice President of the WIA will be outlining some new proposals from our institute and addressing other important issues for the wider hobby\n\nI will report an update on the Groups forthcoming QTech2025 conference to be held in November and announce news of more VHF-UWave records awarded to group members.\n\nFinally\, at the suggestion of Doug VK4OE\, we intend to screen a video on the “back-room” technology involved in the succesful recovery of the APOLLO 13 astronauts.  It is now 55 years since that mission was aborted en route to the moon after a mid flight explosion crippled the spacecraft.\n\nA formal invitation will be circulated before the meeting
